On the occasion of the general meeting of the Saxon Winegrowers' Association in the state winery Schloss Wackenbarth in Radebeul near Dresden, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Slovenia Dr. Stephan Cramer was given the opportunity to present winegrowing in Slovenia with a lecture. The wine-growing regions and the most important autochthonous grape varieties were presented - due to the extensive agenda in the required brevity:
Rumeni Plavec (yellow Plavay)
Cvisek (Slovenian answer to Schilcher / Styria)
Metliska Crnina
and the other common grape varieties
Sametovka (Blue Cologne)
Welschriesling
Blaufränkisch
Kraljevina (Red Portugieser)
Thanks to the Saxon Winegrowers' Association for the invitation.
